Pine Tree Candle Recipe

Prepare your work area by gathering the ProBlend 650 Candle Wax, Frosted Cypress & Mint Fragrance Oil, Green Liquid Candle Dye, Black Liquid Candle Dye, Large Pine Tree Silicone Mold, six CD 8 wicks, Pouring Pot, digital scale, thermometer, skewer, and stirring utensils.

Prepare the Large Pine Tree Silicone Mold. Use a skewer to poke a hole in the bottom center of the mold. Thread one CD 8 wick through the mold, keeping the wick centered and secure.

Weigh 37.1 ounces of ProBlend 650 Candle Wax into the pouring pot. Heat the wax to 185°F, stirring as needed until completely melted.

Divide the melted wax evenly into three heat-safe pouring containers, with approximately 12.4 ounces of wax in each portion.

Leave the first portion uncolored. For the light green portion, add approximately 1-2 drops of Green Liquid Candle Dye and stir until evenly dispersed. For the dark green portion, add approximately 3 drops of Green Liquid Candle Dye and 1 drop of Black Liquid Candle Dye, stirring until evenly dispersed. Add additional dye sparingly if needed to reach the desired
shade.

When each wax portion cools to 170-175°F, add approximately 1.2 ounces of Frosted Cypress & Mint Fragrance Oil to each portion. Stir slowly and thoroughly until the fragrance is fully incorporated.

Allow each portion to cool to 160-165°F. Carefully pour the wax into the prepared Large Pine Tree Silicone Mold, making two Christmas tree candles in each color: uncolored, light green, and dark green.

Allow the candles to cool and harden completely before gently removing them from the mold. Trim each CD 8 wick to approximately 1/4 inch before use.
