While it significantly slows fading, UV Inhibitor will not completely prevent it. Use at 0.25% (about 1/2 tsp or 0.04 oz) per pound of wax, adding it to melted wax at 180–185°F before dye and fragrance, and stir thoroughly to fully dissolve. Always handle with care—wear protective gear such as goggles, avoid inhalation and ingestion, and wash thoroughly after use. Clean spills with a pre-wet material to minimize dust, dispose of cleanup materials in a sealed bag, and keep the product away from heat, flame, and ignition sources.
