Year of the Dragon Candle Recipe

Supplies:
- 51.2 oz Problend 650 Para-Soy Votive Wax
- Round Pillar Mold
- Eco-0.75 1" Pre-Tabbed Wicks
- Wick Stickers
- Maize Dye Chips
- 1.5 oz Dragon’s Blood Fragrance Oil
- Carving Tools
- Blue Lagoon Mica
- Bold Burgundy Mica
- Vibrant Yellow Mica
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare your round pillar mold. Thread a wick through the hole in the mold and seal the hole.
Step 2: Weigh out 51.2 oz ProBlend 650 Para-Soy Votive Wax into a pouring pot. Melt and let cool to around 185F-200F.
Step 3: Add 1.5 oz of fragrance and 3 dye chips. Stir.
Step 4: Let wax cool to around 140F, then pour into pillar mold.
Step 5: After candle has set, remove from mold.
Step 6: Using a carving tool, carve scales into the pillar candle.
Step 7: Using gloved hands or a paint brush, brush mica powders onto the candle, alternating colors until candle is covered. Wipe off excess if necessary.
