Step 1

Use wick stickers to adhere an ECO 14 Candle Wick to each Jar.

Step 2

Prepare your jar. Prop your jar up so that when the wax is poured, it will create a slanted line. We used a lid for each of ours. It is important that your jars are stable, secure, and in an area that they will remain undisturbed.

Step 3

Prepare your candle wax. Weigh out and melt 15.5 ounces of the Golden Brands GW 464 Soy Wax Flakes. Melt using a double boiler to 185°F. Add 1-2 Black Dye Chips. As the wax is melting, stir periodically.

Step 4

Add 1.5 ounces of the Black Amber and Lavender Fragrance Oil, and stir.

Step 5

Pour 2.8 ounces of the wax into each jar around 130°F. Use a wick bar to keep the wick centered and straight. Allow the wax to set up completely before moving on.

Step 6

Prepare the next layer. Weigh out and melt 12 ounces of the Golden Brands GW 464 Soy Wax Flakes. Melt using a double boiler to 185°F. As the wax is melting, stir periodically.

Step 7

Add 1.2 ounces of the Black Amber and Lavender Fragrance Oil, and stir.

Step 8

Pour 2 ounces of the wax into each jar around 130°F. Use a wick bar to keep the wick centered and straight. Allow the wax to set up completely before moving on.

Step 11

Now, place the jars flat on your tabletop.

Step 12

Pour 2.8 ounces of the wax into each jar around 130°F. Use a wick bar to keep the wick centered and straight. Allow the wax to set up completely before moving on.

Step 13

Trim the wick to ¼”. Place a warning label on each jar. Allow to cure up to two weeks.

To Use

Never leave a burning candle unattended, keeping it away from flammable objects, children, and pets, and placing it on a level, heat-resistant surface. Additionally, proper usage requires trimming the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting and not burning the candle for more than four hours at a time or until only 1/4 inch of wax remains.
