Spicy and Spellbinding

"I had been blending my own patchouli and spice scent for my own Witch's Brew scent, but this takes all that extra work out of the equation. It is spicy with those Earthy patchouli and cedarwood notes. I don't get much of the sugar notes, which is fine with me. I have only used it in soy wax so far and it performs well. I will be making cold process soap with this fragrance as well"

Incorrect order

"I recently purchased several 16 oz fragrance oils. When the package arrived, one of the fragrance oils was only an 8 oz bottle. I contacted The Flaming Candle customer service the day the package arrived. They were SUPER responsive and I had the order corrected immediately. The replacement oil was received in a matter of days. I know mistakes can happen, but I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it was corrected. I would like to give you 5 stars, but it took almost 2 weeks to get the initial order, and when I got it, it was wrong. I ordered fragrance oils the same day from Candlescience. I received my order from Candlescience before I received a tracking number from the Flaming Candle order."

Sadly I dislike the scent :(

"Personally I cannot stand this scent. In my opinion the scent is a 1/5 star but I don't feel right rating this that since it's really not the businesses fault or anything that I personally don't like the scent. Anyways I think it's just not my fav. I'm not sure if I'll even use it tbh. But . It's hard to describe the scent. Just smelling it makes me feel sick / get a headache, eventually. But overall I guess if I had to imagine what a real witches brew would smell like, I'd guess it's definitely similar to this scent! :) But don't let this review make you not wanna purchase it, try it for yourself at least once, as I see many others do love it! :)"

Hi Carol! Many factors can affect hot throw -- wick, fragrance load, additives, cure time, the list goes on. Testing to ensure your wick is the proper size/type will go a long way. Please email info@theflamingcandle.com for further assistance or visit our website Resource Center!
I see 2% is recommended for CP soap. At that amount is the scent strong enough? Or should I just use it for candles.. Thank you
Hi Charlene! We recommend testing to ensure you achieve your optimal or desired results, but we have received no complaints regarding the strength of this fragrance. Try soaping at a lower temperature than normal (90 - 100 F) with a test batch.
