Premier 700 Series Wicks

"This wicks are great, can use these for most of my candles. I'm new to Candle Making and I live in Birmingham, Alabama and TFC isn't too far from me for shipping and I get a lot of my supplies from y'all. 9oz straight sided Amber jars dyes, and FO love TFC."

Perfect wick for MP117

"As usual, fast shipping from Flaming Candle. These wicks are perfect for MP117 wax. Have made multiple tests and they burn beautifully, very small or no mushrooming. I like that they have a bit of curl, need to pay close attention to placing the wicks in the correct facing direction to get them to curl in opposite direction for a full melt pool across the surface of the vessel. I use this size to double-wick a 3. 5 vessel, produces a full melt pool in about 3-4 hours on the first burn; subsequent burns develop a full melt pool in less time. May try a Premier 730, but for now the 735 works fine."

Q&A

Hello. How clean are these wicks? I am trying to keep my candles as clean as possible, and use natural materials. But I'm having a hard time wicking a certain type of container and I have been testing wicks for about seven months and none of them seem to work appropriately.
Hi Andrea! The Premier 700 Series wicks contain a high-melt paraffin wax in the coating. As far as being considered "natural", our ECO wicks are our only pre-tabbed wicks that do not contain any paraffin. You can refer to our website Resource Center for troubleshooting information, or email info@theflamingcandle.com for further assistance.
Hi, Which Premier wicks can I double wick my 4 inch apothecary 15oz jar with?
Thank you for reaching out to us. Typically, when you are looking to double wick you would take the diameter of your jar and divide by how many wicks you are looking to use. So, 4" divided by 2 would= 2. This would be the category you would need to reference on our wick guide in the "Medium 2-3" Container Category." We have attached the wick guide below for your reference. We would suggest testing out either Premier-735 or Pemier-745. We always give a couple options to find what works best when conducting your own testing. Please refer to our resource center online for the "How and When to Double-Wick Article" for helpful tips!
