I think my sample bottle was mislabeled?

"I got a sample of this, because after reading the scent notes and the reviews it sounded like it would be a good ""fit for my line. but when it arrived it smelled absolutely nothing like the scent notes listed. After putting it into wax, it smelled like a blend of vanilla, grapefruit zest and has a strong peppermint note as well. I may buy a larger bottle in hopes that it was just a fluke and that the sample was mislabeled. I'll keep my fingers crossed!"

I'm not seeing any usage notes on the Medusa's Elixir and I'm trying to find out of it accelerates or discolors?
Medusa Elixir has vanillin in it which will cause discoloration. As far as usage goes, please provide the category you are wanting the amount on. Thank you.
Hi,is this fragrance (Medusa Elixir) unsafe for use in skin/body care products such as sugar scrubs/body butters?
Thank you for reaching out to us. No, unfortunately, this fragrance oil is not skin safe for any products. Please refer to the IFRA chart on fragrances page so you can see if they can be used in skin safe products along with the usage amount suggestions. Hope this helps.
Can your fragrances be used in coconut wax too?
Thank you for reaching out to us. Our fragrances have been tested in all of the waxes that we currently carry. We do carry coconut soy blends but not straight coconut wax. We do have customers that use our fragrances in waxes that we do not specifically carry. So, this would require conducting your own testing an research to ensure it performs how you are wanting.
