HTP-62 wicks are coreless, cotton flat braid wick with paper filament throughout, providing the structural strength of a paper core wick. Their self-trimming and complete combustion burning characteristics minimize mushrooming and soot. HTP wicks may be used in tealight, votive, pillar, and container candles. The versatility of HTP makes them suitable for use in soy waxes and lower melt point paraffin waxes, including single pour paraffin waxes which are more viscous in nature.

Wick comes out of silver placer

"I would not recommend these wicks in general. I ordered both 52, 62, 73, and 83 In 2 separate orders. So far I've tested with 62, 73, and 83 all of which the whole wick comes out of the silver part when securing them after wax has been poured with the wick stabilizer tool (to center while the wax solidifies). Wasted my money, will not be using."

Wick came loose from tab

"I bought the 100 count of HTP 62 and when I would secure the wick, the wick would come undone and the tab would remain in the jar, took me longer to try and get the tab off and try to redo the wick again."

Q&A

I test burned my first batch of candles and posted the pics. Looks like I'm burning to fast , was told to wick down 1or 2 sizes . Need information on http wick numbers. I used HTP-62 , how do they number their wicks ? Thank you much for any information.
Hi Robert, for our HTP wick sizes, the larger the number, the large the wick diameter. They are listed in ascending order on our Wick Guide.
