Bad Batch?

"I ordered a small test bottle for candles. The first smell from the bottle was interesting, but I know the final scent in the candle is the true test. Sadly nothing improved. Odd as it sounds, there's an strange "fish oil" smell in the product. That's why you test things I guess."

"This scent is so fresh and clean smelling, and I love it for that, but I don't think it smells exactly like fresh-cut grass. it's close to fresh-cut grass/grass but there is something sweet - and maybe it's the sweet lead - (I think) in there that throws it off balance for me both in CT & HT. Could be how it behaves with my wax too (I use a soy/paraffin blend) but I've tried to use it in a couple of oil blends and it's missing the mark. I even blended it with a fragrance oil called dirt hoping to balance it out, and it kind of worked, but not in the way I needed to (for a baseball-themed candle) I used it in another outdoor/clean scent and it works, but I still feel that there is something missing. Not a bad scent at all! And it's strong, just not quite there for true grass. I think it works better in clean fresh scents as a blender."

"Sadly, this was not cut grass to me at all. It did smell fresh, but also of apples and cheddar cheese all at once. A confusing scent, but unsure of how the burn smells as I didn't even test it in a candle."

What is/are a good scent to blend with fresh cut grass?

However, if you are looking to brighten it up a bit we might would suggest looking at fruity scents to give a fresh sweet smell.
