Great product!

"These wicks are amazing for my candles!"

Laurie M. (5/5)

Not sure about these

"This wick is to be used in a small container. I did so (2. 8-3 diameter jar) with soy wax and it turned my wax and glass jar black. On the last burn it didn't burn all the way to the rim. I used sunflower & jasmine fo and HT was good."

"Great size, just what i needed"

Not so good

"These wood wicks just don't seem to burn right. I've bought and tried every size woodwick and the results were not good"

Travis D. (5/5)

Second time not a charm

"I left a review previously two weeks ago as my testing in these were great. So I ordered more and I made a bunch to sell and now they are not so great. Almost all my sold candles are having issues with staying lit. I used the exact same fragrances, wax, containers as my test batches and It's like I received totally different wicks the second order. I had to do a ton of refunds & replacement purchases too. Now I'm out over $300 & my reliability as a business is down."

Monique R. (2/5)

I'm sold on them

"Was my first time purchasing and using wood wicks and I have to say they are fantastic! Make a nice crackling fire sound when burned in my soy candles. Had no issues with the burn as long as trimmed the blackened section before relighting."

Great wick

"They are the best very little smoke and love the sound"

wicks and equipment

"We really like the sound the wicks make and the flame is very appealing."

HELEN O. (5/5)

Nice Crackle but. . .

"Used 464, 4 oz jelly jar, tested with 2 different fragrance. Both low flame, nice crackling, nice pool. . . both eventually went out by itself about 2 hours."

Q&A

Hello! Curious what the difference is between the small wooden wicks and the small DUEL wooden wicks. I have 9oz and 1oz candle jars. the 9oz diameter is 2.5inches and the 1oz diameter is 1.5inches. What wooden wicks would you recommend for this size (I am using coconut apricot luxury wax.) Also I read that you should pour the candle and once the candle starts to solidify then you should insert the wicks, does this mean I do not need to put hot glue on the bottom of the wick tab? I have never worked with wooden wicks and this seemed very odd to me. Thank you for your help!
Dual wooden wicks are two pieces of wood adhered together while single ply wicks are a single piece of wood. All our wooden wicks are .04" thick. You can use either method for wooden wicks -- we suggest testing to figure out which one works best for you.
My jars I want these for are 9oz jars will these work for that size?
We suggest using the small but encourage testing to ensure it works for the customer. A wick guide can be found here https://www.theflamingcandle.com/wick-guide/
