Extremely Light Scent

"I ordered this as a sample with my order. I tested it in a car diffuser using the flaming candles reed diffuser base at 20% fragrance load and 80% base. The scent throw is extremely mild and I could not smell this scent in my car. I then tested this fragrance in a candle using GW-454 coconut soy wax, 10% fragrance load. I let cure for 10 days before burning to test. The CT was light and the hot throw was non-existent. I test all my candles at 10 days to get a gauge on how the scent will do. This scent was disappointing. Out the bottle, I love the way it smells. But in a diffuser and in candles the scent is too light."

Will always need boosting notes

"Is this good to go out the bottle? Maybe, if you're into settling for less than great. This is a good blend for sure, but it's really lacking in an oomph for what it labels itself: LEATHER and SPICE. To get what I wanted from this blend, I had to add more leather and spice. It's still a good base, maybe it's even a better base because it leaves that room there. You could easily add some pumpkin or other baking scents to this for a nice fall blend. It will obviously work with a plethora of woods, herbs, spice, tobacco, caramel, coffee to make masculine or ambient warm blends. I wanted an out the bottle blend ready to go without any additions, and this is not that. But it is a good base and I would buy it again. Suede and Tabac is however the much superior leather scent I've tried from here. Chai, Nutmeg & Spice, Cinnamon Embers all better spice scents."

Good Scent

"Good sent with a good throw for wax melts. It did underperform when used for a candle and not a wax melt. Have not tried it as a room spray yet but I assume it would have a good throw for that as well."

Smells Good Out of Bottle

"First of all TFC never disappoints! I'm just a person who is looking for keepers, which might be bad as i shop for what i like and i really should be shopping for customers. But anything that i don't think is a "keeper" still smells awesome just not unique . . . sooooo, Not that i don't like it but i didn't get leather, i got the warm spices which is giving nice masculine beard oil or body wash, or something whipped but in grey mica color for a man. I pre test TFC fragrances by putting it on cotton swabs and leaving it for a day or so and those 3 things are what i would do with it. I will always post updates after using fragrances as sometime they do surprise you and morph into something awesome like Wild Mountain Honey did in my CP soap, its amazing. . ."
