"This is one of the most beautiful scents! I smell the amber, with a touch of sweet vanilla, but I also get a note of salty sea air. It is wonderful in candles and has a great cold and hot throw. My daughter loves it so much I made a perfume out of it for her! Well done, Flaming Candle!"

Great base for masculine blends

"As amber has become very common in men's fragrances, this is an easy to use base for making masculine blends. It works well with pretty much anything. I really like it in woods-heavy winter blends and spicy fall blends. I use it all the time when I don't know what other base could work, and it lifts everything up, while also generally elevating the perceived quality of the scent blend. Something about it just reads luxury. If you're building a cache of go to base notes, you need to at least try this and I bet you will keep it as a reliable base. It's especially perfect with patchouli, sandalwood, or tobacco."
