CD wicks are a coreless, non-directional, cotton flat braid wick with paper filament throughout, providing increased rigidity. They can be used for tealights, votives, pillars, and container candles. CD wicks are versatile and work well in more viscous waxes, such as single pour paraffin and soy (vegetable) waxes. They are self trimming and designed to promote a consistent burning flame.

Disappointed

"I was not please with these wicks. I pour my wax at 155, not hot at all, and the wick will comes off from wick tab."

Constancia H. (5/5)

ALMOST worked on my beeswax recipe

"I'm using as much beeswax in my mix as I possibly can trying to maintain my 5 hour per ounce burn rate. The product was very nicely made, there just isn't any recommendations for beeswax on the chart so I'm buying several types trying to NOT get a tunneling during a 3 hour burn test. The tightest, biggest wicks available aren't working for my beeswax. Might I suggest a beeswax line of wicks? Otherwise, awesome customer service when I reached out asking for suggestions and nothing negative to say! Great job guys!"

Q&A

Where are the wicks manufactured?
Hello, and thanks for reaching out with your question regarding the CD-22 6" Pre-Tabbed Wicks! The wooden wicks (Lumetique, Inc.) are manufactured in the USA. Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing The Flaming Candle!
What does the first number mean.cd-22-6 the 22
Hi There, The first number tells you the wick size. The size of the wick is determined by how many spools of yarn were used to make the wick. The higher the number, the larger the wick. As a general rule, the larger wick sizes will have a bigger melt pool and usually have higher wax consumption. Hope this helps!
