Gingerbread Wax Melts Recipe

Step 1

Prepare your candle wax. Weigh out and melt 12 ounces of the ProBlend 550 candle wax using a double boiler. Melt the wax to 185°F. As the wax is melting, stir periodically.

Step 2

Add 2-3 drops brown liquid candle dye. Once everything is melted, stir to fully incorporate the color.

Step 3

Add 1.2 ounces Winterberry Spark Fragrance Oil at 180°F. Stir. 

Step 4

At about 170°F, pour the wax into 6 of the gingerbread molds and allow them to set up.

Step 5

Remove them from the mold.

Step 6

Melt 1 oz of ProBlend 650. Place it in a small container.

Step 7

Use a paintbrush to paint the feet, hands, eyes, and mouth of each gingerbread.

Step 8

Melt 1 oz of ProBlend 650. Add a drop of red liquid candle dye. Stir. Place it in a small container.

Step 9

Use a paintbrush to paint each bowtie red.  Allow the wax to set.
