Golden Brands GW 444 Soy Wax Flakes - 50 lb. Case
Golden Brands GW 444 is a natural soy wax containing a soy based additive to reduce frosting. The soy based additive and a higher melt point enable it to retain a higher fragrance load and improve scent throw. GW 444 is designed for use in container candles and blends well with other waxes, such as paraffin, slack, and microcrystalline wax. It is not recommended to blend GW 444 with beeswax.
Melt Point: 119 - 125°

Great wax when used properly
Posted by Gloria M. on 12th Dec 2018
I love this wax. As stated by another reviewer, it is pretty consistent. Just be sure to pour at a low temperature, and you will be fine. After a lot of trial and error, I found a temperature that works for my blended wax. In addition, the customer service is outstanding, personable, and courteous.

I started using this after giving up on C3. This is much easier to work with and is pretty consistent.
Holds scent well

I have been working with this wax since I began making candles 2 years ago. Soy can be fickle, but I find the scent is amazing when poured at a very low temp, usually around 100 degrees. Love The Flaming Candle's customer service as well, so quick to receive all products. Keep up the great work!

I was previously using Eco-Soya cb135 and loved it, but when that was out of stock I got this because it seems to be popular. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I hate this stuff. I've tried every temperature from 120 to 145 for pouring, I've tried heating and not heating my jars and I can't get a decent looking candle to save my life. Glass adhesion is poor. Some candles have sink holes, some don't. Out makes no sense as I have plenty of experience making candles, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the inconsistencies with this wax. I can't wait until I've used it all so I can go back to my reliable wax.

This is my first wax I started with and all my customers are extremely happy with the quality of the burn and the hot throw it gives. On my 3rd box. Easy to work with and makes a great candle.

This is the first soy wax that I have ever worked with. I followed the directions that were included with the order and have had no problems whatsoever. This wax makes a beautiful candle with a great scent throw. I am now ordering four to five 50 lb. cases at a time!

This was my first time using soy wax. I followed the directions included from Flaming Candle and used the recommended ECO14 wick for the 8 oz tins. I heated to 185, added fragrance at the appropriate flash points for the oils that I was using and poured around 140. So far I've made about 100 candles and they have all turned out beautifully! I've almost used the first 50 lbs. that I ordered and have just ordered an additional 50 lbs.
