Perfect for Blending

"This is a soft amber that can really set a mood, but I can't get much throw in my veggie wax blends to use it alone. However, it is in nearly every blend I make. This oil can take the sharp edge off of any scent, including the loud herbals. It is even good at getting rid of that syrupy sweet overdose in some gourmands. It is really beautiful. I like it best blended at a 70/30 mix with a very loud sage that is essential in my desert inspired scented candles. The sage remains strong, but it has a soft background that tames the harshness of the camphor."

Sensual, androgenous, and sooooo sultry

"Whoever blended this fragrance is a master. I don't use many fragrance oils right out of the bottle, but this one is a stellar standalone fragrance. There is no hint of floral. It is primarily a warm blend of ambers that are smooth and sensual. The woody notes and the vanilla are in the background, yet they make the entire blend rich, deep and interesting. How ambers can be used as tops notes is beyond my skill set, lol. This certainly qualifies as a lux spa scent without any headiness. The Flaming Candle nails another amber rich scent. I find myself adjusting my line so that I can use the many samples of the various amber blends because there are so many that make me swoon. I just love them. Check out the Black Amber and Lavender, too."

Q&A

Does this fragrance typically require a wick-up or wick-down at 9% in 464 soy? I'm having difficulty wicking it. Thanks!
Viscous and natural waxes (such as soy) often perform best with a larger wick size. Your fragrance load might be too high, as too much fragrance oil can actually inhibit throw by "choking" the wick. Can this oil be used with reed diffusers?
