Brown Sugar Cortado Candle

Supplies:

  1. Prepare your jars. Adhere a CD wick to each of you six candle jars using a wick sticker.
  2. Weigh out and melt 36 ounces of the 415 Soy Wax to 185F using a double boiler.
  3. Once melted add 5 drops of the brown liquid candle dye and 3.6 ounces of the Coffee House Fragrance Oil. Stir.
  4. Let the temperature drop to 130F. Pour 6.1 ounces of wax into each jar. Center the wicks with a wick bar. Allow the wax to set completely.
  5. In a clean pouring pot, weigh out 6 ounces of the 415 Golden Brands Soy Wax. Melt to 185F.
  6. Add 0.6 ounces of the Coffee House Fragrance Oil. Stir.
  7. At 130F, pour 1 ounce of wax into each jar. Allow to set.
  8. In a sealable bag, add about 0.5 ounces of the ProBlend 550 along with one drop of brown liquid candle dye. Seal the bag. Blend the colorant with the wax.
  9. Sprinkle each candle with a small amount of the granulated wax.
