No issues

"I normally buy wood wicks elsewhere but, I decided to try these because I needed more oils. I would say, these are thicker than my normal ones I get from the west coast. I use igi6006 in a 1oz straight sided jars and they work great. No issues. Burn was even better than the west coast wicks. I only wish the pricing was better which if they didnt include the wick clips it would make it cheaper. I like low profile wick clips so the clips I will have to use elsewhere."

Mini Wooden Wicks

"These mini wicks worked perfectly in my 2. 5 oz jars. They burned beautifully & there was still a wooden wick crackle even with its tiny size. I had previously used all the other name brand wicks for this vessel and they burned too hot. Highly recommend if you are looking for this size wick."

Not so much!

"The small woo wicks did not work well for us. They would light, then go out. We tried several time to light them again, but ended up taking them out of the candles and re-melting the wax for candles with regular wicks. . Everything else was great and my Husband really enjoys his new hobby."

Confused

"I never received the metal holders for the bottom of the wooden wicks. Was I supposed to purchase them separately or what. I'm just confused and can't tell you if I'm satisfied with the product or not."

Wooden wicks

"Not good. It may have been too thin. The flame didn't last."

My Purchase

"Great selection and scents are amazing!"

Wood wicks

"Only used once. Maybe I needed to get a sampler of wood wicks because this wick didn't work well in small 2. 3 diameter candle"

Mini Wicks. . . perfect for jelly jars

"These worked great. I make candles in small mason jelly jars and these are just the right size. They burn perfectly."

Good

"It was ok I just need to order the small or medium wicks next time."

Test First

"I love these wicks. They keep from having to cut and not get even ends. I do not advise wood wicks for starters. Make sure to do WICK TESTING!"

Q&A

Hello What size mason or ball jar would the mini wooden wicks work with? The quilted 4oz jelly jars in particular with beeswax as the candle wax. Wick tabs say they are included but there is no second picture depicting it like the description says it does, I am confused. Thank you in advance!
Hi, the wooden wicks DO come with wick tabs. For best results, try using the mini wooden wicks with small tins and votives with paraffin wax rather than soy or beeswax. Wooden wicks may not burn hot enough to melt beeswax, and soy wax tends to retain a bit too much heat for wooden wicked candles of this size.
Would this work on a 8oz. Jelly jar?
Hi Silvia! This size would be too short for an 8 oz Jelly Jar. I hope this helps!
COuld the mini wood wicks be used for tealights?
Hi Debra, We would not recommend using mini wooden wicks in tealights. The height of the wick clip would leave a large amount of wax in the tealight and the wick would also be a little too big for use in tea lights. If there are any other questions we can help with, please let us know. We are happy to help.
