Q&A
- I would like to know, what is your recommendation what number of Premier wick, I should use in the bottles of the following sizes 2.6, 3.1, 3.3, 3.2 and 3.5 inches, it would be my first time using them I would like to do some tests
- Please reach out to us at info@theflamingcandle.com and we'd be happy to assist.
- I purchased the Premier-799 6" Pre-Tabbed Wick but it was too small so I doubled the wick. I would like to use one wick for my 3 7/8 jar wide and 5 inches tall jar. what size can I purchase?
- It does depend on your wax type, but typically a Premier 799 should work for that size container. Please send me an email directly at info@theflamingcandle.com so I can further assist. I need more information on your candle recipe.
- Which wicks would you recommend for a 12oz candle?
- Typically, when determining what wick size to use for a vessel it is based on that containers diameter. If you could find the diameter of the jar and then refer to our online wick guide (link below) specifically in the container category for the wicks you are interested in testing out you should be able to find available size options. Hope this helps! Wick Guide: https://www.theflamingcandle.com/wick-guide/?_ga=2.231169375.1338818177.1670850080-319213927.1665577434
- Looking for a wick that is clean burning with soy wax with a container that is 3.4 inch diameter. I typically use the max percentage of oil and looking for the best premier 700 series wick type. Any assistance is appreciated.
- Thank you for reaching out to us. Typically, for any type of soy wax or blend containing more soy in it we recommend our ECO or CD series wicks. However, if you are wanting to use the Premier series then you can find the size options best to test out from our online wick guide. We have attached it below for your reference. Wick Guide: https://www.theflamingcandle.com/wick-guide/ For the size diameter you previously mentioned, we would suggest testing out Premier 765, and 775 to see which performs best. Hope this helps.
