Love the palm stearic acid

"I love the stearin acid. I love how it makes my Candles look."

Excellent

"Excellent stearic acid from all of the different ones I have worked from other brands. It gives the candle the slight shine , better fragrance retention, and definitely (when using colorants) makes the color of candle look more vibrant than if not using this stearic acid."

Excellent Stearin for Candles

"I've been trying to find a good reliable source of stearic acid for candle making for some time now. I've tried other stearin from other suppliers and they worked ok but the consistency of the final wax product was weird. When I saw these flakes and specific use for candles I gave it another go and I'm glad I did. This stuff makes the paraffin I mix it with opaque and raises the melting temp to where I prefer. All in all, great product and I'll definitely be ordering again!"

Profesional Candles with Stearic Acid!

"Excellent quality! My candles looks very profesional with perfect top surfaces! A small quantity of Stearic acid is enough with my coconut wax."

Q&A

Can this be use with contaiber wax? Soy wax 464? Thank you
Hi Maria! This product is recommended more for pillar/mold candles because it assists with mold release; container candle wax is formulated to adhere to the container. We suggest testing both stearic acid and Vybar separately to determine which best suits your needs.
I live in a hot country. Can I used it with 464 or just for Pilar wax? Which do you recommend me to use for better finish and look: palm stearic or vibar 260? I use, only, natural products on my candles. What do you recommend me? Thank you.
Hello, palm stearic acid can harden wax to provide better structural support, increase wax opacity (whiteness), and assist with mold release by shrinking. You can test small amounts of stearic acid in container candles (although it may affect glass adhesion), but Vybar 260 may better suit your application.
Can this be used with soy wax?
Hi Jimmy, palm stearic acid can be used with any type of pillar wax, including soy and soy blends.
Does this work well with paraffin wax (4630?)
Yes, Palm Stearic Acid works well with Paraffin wax Palm stearic acid (or stearin) is generally used as a wax hardener which helps pillar or freestanding candles hold their shape in warmer climates. It also increases wax opacity (whiteness) and assists with mold release Stearic Acid, when added to your wax, makes a harder, stronger candle. Use 3 tablespoons per pound of wax to considerably upgrade the quality of your candle making.
Can you add this to coconut wax to raise the melt point to allow shipping container candles in warmer months? This next questions was last asked in August of 2020, but what about fragrance throw? Does this improve it?
Thank you for reaching out to us. This product is commonly used to increase the hardness of wax. This may help when shipping candles in warmer months to maintain shape and quality. This product does not necessarily have any affect on fragrance load or performance. We would suggest testing a smaller amount in your wax to make sure it meets your expectations and performance. Hope this helps.
