Seizes in CP

"I initially used this in candles, great throw. But used for cp soaps- I soap at room temp (70f) with a 2:1 water ratio. This seized immediately with a stick blender. Second time I tried just gently mixing with spoon and then pulsed three times with my stick blender, again it seized before I could swirl and get in a mold. It might be alright if you're not trying to do anything other than solid color."

Great in cp soap

"I didn't have quite enough for a test batch of cp soap so I added 1/8oz of NG cool clear water to my sample size of Ocean mist from Flaming Candle. I was inspired by Missouri River Soap for my design and did a 7 layer ocean soap. I use lots of kaolin clay so my water is 2. 4:1 water to lye. It soaped beautifully! I added the FO to each layer as I poured and did a IPS with white accent for every layer. Poured great and even had to wait for each layer to set up a bit before pouring the next. The scent is very fresh and ocean like and so good! Very strong sent after saponification, but will have to wait to see if it stays strong after cure. I'm very optimistic. So very pleased with this Sent. Slight acceleration, no separation, ricing, or discoloration. Simply delightful!"

Can this fragrance be used for Room Sprays or Diffusers?
Hi Jessica! Please check the appropriate IFRA categories and corresponding values in order to determine the maximum safe usage amount for your application. Category 10A is for reed diffusers, Category 12 is for other air delivery systems (such as electric diffusers), and Category 10B is for air freshener sprays. You can find the IFRA document on each fragrance's product page.
