Hot and Cold throw
"I have been using C-3 Soy from the start, 7 years now. I have had no issues with hot or cold throw. Now what I can tell you is I use 7% and they smell wonderful. Some times you make have wet spots an tunneling but that's with any wax. That's where the science comes in. Could be cold jars or pouring to quick. But fragrances vary as well. Some of mine wont have a strong throw hot or cold to me but customers will tell you differently. It is all in the preference or choice. I love the creamy finish and the all natural of the wax. Burn time and clean air are the key sellers in my business. You wont get that from paraffin or blend when using wicks is my opinion, All natural soy requires a melt point of 185 degree and may I suggest adding your fragrance immediately stirring for at least 2 minutes and pouring slowly at 165 -170 for a smooth finish and best candle performance. And ECO wicks work best. Curing time for all my candles is nothing less then 2 weeks."
TERRIBLE for scented candles

- Hello, I would like to know which of the following waxes NatureWax C3 OR NatureWax C-6 Coconut/Soy wax, would be the best for massage. Thank you!
- Hi Mayte! We have not tested our waxes in that application and therefore cannot advise on that usage. However, coconut wax is less dense and therefore slightly softer than soy wax. These 2 waxes have roughly the same melt point.
- How much ounces does 1lb gives you?
- 1lb equates to 16oz.
- Can I use this in Tin Can Candle containers?
- Hi Shannon! Yes, NatureWax C-3 can be used in tins -- it performs wonderfully in all our sizes!
- Has anyone tried this wax with the wood wix? How does it perform please? TIA Sindy
- I haven't personally used them, but we do have customers that do use them in a soy/coconut blends.
