- Hi Kristy! The type of wick is largely based on the type of wax. We recommend CD or ECO for soy-based waxes, and Premier 700, HTP, or Zinc for paraffin-based waxes. Based on the diameter of this container (listed in the product description), you can determine a suitable range to start wick testing from our Resource Center's Wick Guide.
