"The picture makes you think you're going to get a FO that smells similar to Irish Spring Soap. That not the case at all. I'm disappointed because that's the only reason I bought this FO. I had a very specific product design in mind and now I've got to search for a different FO to fulfill that idea."

"Either the people who've written the previous reviews have never smelled a bar of Irish Spring or TFC has recently altered this specific scent. I wish I'd seen the bottle it comes in because it says right on it that it contains Vanilla, which oddly enough is not mentioned in any of the contents or notes. I'm sorry, but in what universe does one smell Irish Spring soap and think "you know what this dupe needs. . . . Vanilla"! I think not!!! Perhaps this oil was made near a bar of Irish Spring, but it does not smell like it at all. In fact, I feel like the vanilla makes this more of a Fall/ Autumn scent. I am VERY disappointed in this scent and had the reviews for it been honest/ accurate, I certainly wouldn't have purchased it."
"I made CP soap with this and it behaved beautifully. No acceleration (maybe even decelerated a bit) and no discoloration. And it smells just like the original Irish Spring. The soap is only a week old now, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it has good retention. So far I'm very pleased."
