Preferimos mechas CD con 464. Nuestros vasos de 10 oz tienen un diámetro de ~3.125". Sugerimos un rango inicial de CD 14, 16, 18 para probar las mechas; puedes determinar a partir de tus resultados si es necesario aumentar o disminuir la mecha.

Hi new to candle making and was wondering if GW 464 can be used for small fruit molds that i can use as a decoration in my container candles. I am currently using 464 as my wax. If not can you please recommend what wax would be appropriate and if that wax can be mixed with 464.

Hi, container candle wax won't unmold cleanly and will be too soft for embeds and molds. You can mix your 464 with paraffin to harden it for use in molds, or use a pillar/tart wax such as ProBlend 650 or ProBlend 450 for this part of your candle.

Can this wax be used for wax melts? Or will it crumble excessively when you try to remove it from the mold?

Hi, 464 is a container wax, so it will adhere to the sides of the mold rather than shrinking for easier mold release. It is also considered too soft to use by itself for use in wax melts. Try GW 494 or ProBlend 650 for wax melts/tarts.

Hello! 415 soy wax is 100% pure soy without any pre-blended additives. It has a slightly higher melt point enabling it to retain a higher fragrance load, and blends well with beeswax and paraffin. Being pure soy, it is more prone to frosting and rough tops than 464, which is pre-blended with botantical, soy-based additives to reduce frosting and help with glass adhesion. It is NOT recommended to blend 464 with beeswax.
