CD wicks are a coreless, non-directional, cotton flat braid wick with paper filament throughout, providing increased rigidity. They can be used for tealights, votives, pillars, and container candles. CD wicks are versatile and work well in more viscous waxes, such as single pour paraffin and soy (vegetable) waxes. They are self trimming and designed to promote a consistent burning flame.

These wicks worked very well

"These wicks worked very well for my candles. They provided a clean, even burn and performed consistently. I had good melt pools and reliable results, making them easy to work with. I will definitely purchase these again."

Excellent wicks for 3" jars

I am still testing these

"I am still testing these but overall with all wooden wick sizes why would there be inconsistency in my test results?"

Premier -735 works well

"These wicks work very well in a 1" and 2 " diameter candle container. I used for the first time and I am satisfied"

Wrong size

"These are the only wicks I have used for years. I used to drive to Atlanta and pick my order up. I recently placed an order not knowing that flaming candle had moved to another state. Shipping took over two weeks. My medium wicks were not the normal size. Not sure what wicks I received although the pacing read medium wicks. I’m glad I only made a small order. I attached a photo to show the difference in sizes."

Q&A

I'm going to purchase the ProBlend 600. I'm using 5 inch tall 3.5 inch wide 8oz mason jars. No color additives and just basic cinnamon scent. Would these be my best bet to try first?
Hi There, Thank you for reaching out to us. We would recommend for a 3.5" diameter to trying testing out a CD-18 or CD-20. We have attached our wick guide from the website below so you can see where we got this suggestion from. We hope this helps! Wick Guide: https://www.theflamingcandle.com/wick-guide/ Kindly, Cierra
Hi there. In the past we have purchased CD 18 wicks from Candle Science. Are this CD 18 wicks consistent with theirs? Our candles are in 9 oz jars and we use a blend of soy and beeswax. Thanks for your help.
Hi Danielle! The CD 18 wicks we carry are coated in a natural wax coating. The series of wick is the same, however, they may or may not have the same type of coating. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!
Does it work well with 464 soy wax and oxford medium jars 9oz ? If it's not what do you recommend?
Hi Mariam! We recommend testing a few wick sizes to make sure the wick size chosen is the correct size for the wax and fragrance combination. This wick could work for your candle recipe, testing is the best way to determine if it is the right size. I hope this helps!
