I just want to confirm the safety information is correct on the attached document, it has 100% on lots of different mediums which seems unusual. I have a customer who wants it in a body spray and also an air freshener. A full 100% is great safety wise non-body contact, but surely there's a recommendation of a percentage we can mix? Thanks!: Hi Bridget, the IFRA usage rates are the maximum amounts that have been safely tested in each application -- they do not correspond to the actual recommended usage for optimal results. If you are using a pre-made base with this fragrance, you would not exceed the fragrance load the base can accept.
I just wanted to make sure this is skin safe. I know your site confirms that is can be used in soaps and Latinos but in the SDS section11 is states is irritates skin. Am I reading this information wrong or is there a way to dilute it to make it skin safe?: Hello! Each fragrance oil has been tested & verified safe up to the amounts listed on the IFRA. Your product is perfectly safe as long as you do not exceed the IFRA value for each application. The SDS provides information on potentially hazardous ingredients and usually relates more to large quantities in terms of manufacturing, handling, warehousing, and transport. Many hazards listed are potential, or only at high concentrations, or are only active under certain conditions (such as inhaling wax flakes for a respiratory hazard). Because ingredient sensitivities vary between individuals, we provide the IFRA, SDS, and EU Allergens documents so each customer can make informed decisions based on their unique needs.
