Hi! This would be my recommendation if you are looking for a natural wax for wax melts or tarts. I am not sure what you are asking about when referring to cake. I wonder if there is something lost in translation. In English, some will refer to them as"wax tarts" and others as "wax melts." They are the same thing, though.

Hi there, I would like to know what kind of soy wax pure 100% could I use for silicon mold candles (decorativas with wick) I tried pro blend 650 and i really loved it the finish in my candles molds (xmas tree balls etc) but since I'm paraffin free I don't want to use it, some recommendations for candles molds? Thank-you

Hi Mima! We do not currently carry a 100% soy wax for pillar candles. 494 is only for use in wax melts and tarts and cannot be used in products requiring a wick. Most soy waxes will be too soft for pillar candles without the use of additives, as they are formulated to adhere to the sides of the container rather than shrinking for easy mold release. You can experiment with additives or try blending with beeswax.

I only sell wickless products. GW 494 is my staple. I have plenty of it. I'm wanting to experiment with hanging wax satcht and maybe ornaments. Will this wax be good for that? It would be great not to have to have multiple types of waxes. If not can you recommend a soy wax that I can try?

Hi Melonie, this would be a great wax to test in sachets and ornaments! It does have a slightly lower melt point than other wax melt/tart and pillar waxes, though, so bear that in mind in warmer months/climates.

Hi April! Per the description, "The wax blend composition includes botanical additives that prevent wicks from properly burning and therefore should not be used in candles. This wax is only recommended for wax melts and tarts and not for use in candles."
