"I ran out of vanilla birch last year and re-ordered it this week and apparently the formulation/blend has changed!!! It is not the same, sweet vanilla birch as before. This formulation has a heavy amber base that is NOT GOOD. Will definitely need to blend my own next time. Do not like this at all."

"I bought this 16oz to try as a vanilla scent for a new store I am adding to my company but myself as well as several others have thought it is a little bit of a soapy smell to it and that without that hint it would be a really nice fragrance! I'll be looking for other vanilla scents on your site tho until I find one that will be one of our signature scents because vanilla is such a popular and important flavor smell to nail. The vanilla birch is still nice I would use it in a bathroom at home or at the office still."

What is the ratio of Vanilla Birch oil to soy wax flakes to fill a 14.5 oz 3 wick candle?

For those soapers out there.how did this behave in CP soap? Did it discolor and/or accelerate? Thanks!
Hi Lindsey! This fragrance oil contains vanillin and other ingredients known to cause discoloration, gel phase, and trace acceleration. To mitigate this, we suggest soaping at lower temperatures, mixing by hand rather than with a stick blender, and using recipes with softer oils.
Can this oil be applied to the skin w a carrier oil?
Thank you for reaching out to us. No, you cannot apply any of our fragrances directly onto your skin without dilution in a product. These are raw fragrance oils that are not designed to be applied directly to your skin. Please ensure the fragrance you are looking to use is skin safe and used in a finished product before applying to your skin. Hope this helps.
How bad does it discolor?
Thank you for reaching out to us. This fragrance oil has a Vanillin % of 0.60. So, the vanillin content is on the lower side. However, this fragrance oil could still potentially discolor products due to it containing this component but may not discolor as bad as other fragrances. Hope this helps!
