Can you recommend a scent you can mix with this fragrance: Although this is largely dependent on your application, desired aroma, and personal preference, many customers prefer to add a vanilla fragrance as a complement to the berry. Lemon or mint can add complexity and brightness, sugary or bakery scents may be sweet or warm, and earthy scents add depth to the profile. Remember to check the IFRA usage rate for each fragrance. Consider: Very Vanilla, Bergamot, Birthday Cake, Lemon Pound Cake, Lemon Verbena, Rosemary Mint, Tomato Leaf, or a subtle floral.
Is this fragrance gel wax compatible?: Hi Loretta! Because we do not carry gel wax, we have not tested this product in that application. Not all fragrance oils can be used in gel wax; testing is required EVERY TIME with each scent because not all FOs will blend. The flashpoint of the fragrance must be 170F or higher in order to use it with gel wax (this FO's is 171). Do not use more than a 3.1% fragrance load with gel wax, and use zinc wicks.
Do all your FO can be used on the reed diffusers?: Hello! Please refer to Category 10A of the IFRA documentation for each individual fragrance oil in which you are interested to see if they can be used in Reed Diffusers. Most of our fragrances now have this documentation listed on each individual product page of our website, but if you do not see it available for download, please reach out to us via email request and we would be more than happy to send it to you.
I'm curious about the low flash point of 115¬∞? Isn't that a bit low for candle making? Or am I misunderstanding the way flash points work?: The flashpoint of candle fragrance oil is the temperature at which point it becomes combustible if exposed to a spark or flame. In order for it to be combustible, the fragrance oil would have to be 100% by itself (not in candle form).
Does this fragrance discolor in cold process soap?: This fragrance has a content of Vanillin - 0.00% . We have not tested this fragrance in cold process soap at our facility, so we recommend to test in small batches to see how it performs.
