Q&A

Is the sweet orange chili pepper similar to the one candle science had years ago ? I want to smell some Jalapeño or pepper and reading the description sounds like zero pepper smells
Hi Kamala! The spicy, peppery note is less pronounced than the sweet orange in this scent. We always recommend reading customer reviews and testing with a 1-oz. size to get a better idea of the full fragrance profile.
I am new to candle making. I am noticing that this scent's flashpoint is lower than when I would add my fragrance oil in (185 degrees F). If I add this oil in at 185 F, will this affect the oil's potency?
The flashpoint is the temperature at which the FO can combust if exposed to an "open" flame. However adding your FO at that temperature will not cause it to combust.
