"This is one of the most beautiful scents! I smell the amber, with a touch of sweet vanilla, but I also get a note of salty sea air. It is wonderful in candles and has a great cold and hot throw. My daughter loves it so much I made a perfume out of it for her! Well done, Flaming Candle!"

Great base for masculine blends

"As amber has become very common in men's fragrances, this is an easy to use base for making masculine blends. It works well with pretty much anything. I really like it in woods-heavy winter blends and spicy fall blends. I use it all the time when I don't know what other base could work, and it lifts everything up, while also generally elevating the perceived quality of the scent blend. Something about it just reads luxury. If you're building a cache of go to base notes, you need to at least try this and I bet you will keep it as a reliable base. It's especially perfect with patchouli, sandalwood, or tobacco."

Pleasantly Surprised

"OOB this is a soft, sensual scent but is very light. In wax, it comes to life! I poured it yesterday with 9% fo load, paraffin/soy blend, wood wick. The test burn this morning is going better than I expected. CT is very light and without a lid, I fear it would disappear. That being said, the HT is great! It is the type of scent that is supposed to linger. . . or haunt. . . not punch you in the face. And yet, I smell it throughout my home. It is a lovely candle, I imagine it's even better in B&B products."

Unbelievable

"I've been ordering FO's for years for personal use and this was the most unusually beautiful scent I've found. I generally just order the create my own sampler and when the order arrived I could only focus on this scent! It's so deep, sweet and to my nose has a slight berry sweetness but that's probably the jasmine giving the Amber more depth. It's a fantastic fall smell that's not the regular pumpkins and apples and it's not mulberry. I came straight back to leave a review and buy a 16oz and I never do that these days. This is an amazing scent!"
