Does not smell like bourbon

"I'm wondering if the batches are made the same because this current batch does not smell like any bourbon, especially Kentucky bourbon. If you're not being sucked into the description on the bottle or the website and you just try to sort out the scents independently, this smells like buttery, caramel toffy. It is dissapointing because the Kentucky bourbon smell and aroma is so unique and smells wonderful. This doesn't smell bad, it just doesn't smell like bourbon. If you like buttery caramel toffy, I could see that working well with a coffee or a bakery scent. Reminds me of going to the beach forty years ago when toffy was a real thing and my grandfather would likely get a buttery caramel toffy. I am located in Southeastern Virginia."

I've purchased 3 other bourbon fragrances from other suppliers and they smell like a sweet butter cake to me. They smell nice but not what I wanted from a bourbon scent. Hello! Is the Kentucky Bourbon fragrance suitable for gel wax? Thank you!
Hi Brian, we do not recommend using this fragrance oil in gel wax due to its low flashpoint of 136 °F.
Is this compatible with Gel Wax?? I'd like to make realistic bourbon candles with it and I need to use gel wax.
We have not tested this product in this type of wax, so we are unable to verify this. We strongly encourage testing of any product you are unfamiliar with to see if it is comparable for your needs.
I have an Oil lamp and I am curious if I can pour this straight i into the lamp to burn?

We would be unsure as to how they may perform and if this could potentially become a fire hazard. We suggest doing small test batches to ensure the product performs correctly and follows all required regulations. We apologize and wish we had more information.
Are these fragrance oils vegan?

We do not test any of our products on animals; however, we cannot make any statements regarding animal testing, animal derived ingredients or byproducts at the manufacturing level. We use several fragrance manufacturers and have inquired with them, and the response we are given is: No Data Available. We are also unable to obtain official statements and/or certifications on these types of things. This is likely due to the fact that the oils are manufactured from ingredients derived from many different sources/suppliers, and there is no way to determine their specific ingredient sources and formulation methods due to industry trade secrets.
