Wow! This scent smells just

"Wow! This scent smells just like pancake breakfast. Delicious! I plan on making wax tarts with it. I purchased a sample size. I need to get more. This one is going in my favorites category."

Separation in Soy Wax

"I use GB 464 soy wax. I heat it to 185°, and I used a 7% fragrance load. The temperature of the room is 68°, and I poured at 138°. When they set for a day, there was a ton of oil on the top. I've never experienced this with any oils I've used. I gave this 3 stars due to the separation, but I'm hoping it gets better if I use less. The issue is, it's not a very strong scent, so I worry if I lower the fragrance load, that the HT & CT will be negatively impacted. All temperatures are in Fahrenheit."

not as advertised

"was so excited about this scent but it disappointed me. there is no maple scent cold or hot or straight from the bottle. I had a friend request a maple scented candle now I have to spend more money trying to find a different oil, really disappointed this one did not as the majority of the reviews were favorable. also, you can barely smell it."

Moderate strength for soy

"Fragrance is yummy. I smell maple and butter. The butter is not too strong at all. I can detect the coconut. I first tried 10% in Freedom Soy (a pure soy w/all-natural additives) but the HT was not strong enough. Next I tried 10% in Problend 600 (052% soy/48% paraffin), w/ECO series wick, 2 week cure time, and I would say the HT is good. I feel the HT is subtle, my father says it's just right, my brother says it's strong. So, a PASS for the FO. 4. 5 stars out of 5."

Smells Amazing. . . AS IT SEIZES IN CP SOAP

"As soon as this fragrance oil arrived, I was so excited to work with it. I opened the bottle and immediately fell in love with the scent. I mixed up a batch of cold process soap, poured the fragrance oil in, and picked up a spatula. By the time that spatula reached the soap batter, I knew I was in trouble. The soap was hard--and I mean rock-hard, like I could have cut it into bars right then and there and when I tapped it with the spatula, there was a resounding . I soaped very cool--80 degrees. I wish I'd had the chance to actually work with it because the scent is amazing. So sad!!!"

Q&A

Hi! Is this the same oil used by Crossroad Candle Co. for their Hot Buttered Maple Syrup candle?
Hi Melissa! We work with a fragrance house for all our fragrance oils, and are not familiar with the products of another company.
How much of this fragrance would add to a pound of soy wax?
Hi Lisa! You'll need to check the fragrance load of your specific wax, but we generally recommend 1 oz of fragrance per pound of wax.
I make wax melts with this and the 3 times that I made this scent I had separation in a few melt clam shells after set up. Is there a trick to using FO with vanillin? I'm guessing that's the problem as I don't have this issue with any other scents I make. I use your Pro Blend 650 wax. I heat the wax to 200°. I add the FO when the temp gets to 185° to 190° and I pour at 160°. Thank you.
Hi, although you can always experiment with temperatures, it is possible you may need to lower your fragrance load or amount of additives. Certain fragrances or ingredients can separate even when a very small percentage is used, and because this fragrance contains both vanillin and ethyl vanillin, it just may not work well at your current percentage. A small amount of Vybar 103 or switching to a higher paraffin content wax may help with this.
My customers love MAPLE. Wondering if this scent is strong + sweet? Those are my two requirements for a replacement on a current maple scent.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, this fragrance is considered one of our stronger scents. If you are looking for a strong scent with maple we would suggest this or our Sugared Maple. You can always check out reviews to see if it would be something you would like to try. Hope this helps!
Are any Prop 65 ingredients in this fragrance oil? Thanks!
Hi Betty! This is information we will have to request from the manufacturer. Please email our customer service team so we can get this information to you.
