Year of the Dragon Candle Recipe

Prepare your round pillar mold. Thread a wick through the hole in the mold and seal the hole.

Weigh out 51.2 oz ProBlend 650 Para-Soy Votive Wax into a pouring pot. Melt and let cool to around 185F-200F.

Add 1.5 oz of fragrance and 3 dye chips. Stir.

Let wax cool to around 140F, then pour into pillar mold.

After candle has set, remove from mold.

Using a carving tool, carve scales into the pillar candle.

Using gloved hands or a paint brush, brush mica powders onto the candle, alternating colors until candle is covered. Wipe off excess if necessary.
