Premier wicks

"Wicks are great; however processing times for anything at this company is 3-4 times longer than any other comparable company."

Perfect wick size for 3 inch container candle

"I tested different wicks but only this wick works for my ceremic 3 inch diameter container. It has around 1/2 inch flame and 2/4inch melt pool of my soy candle. No residue on the walls. I am so happy about this product and definitely I choose this wick for my candle business."

Q&A

I would like to 3 wick a 4‚" vessel using GB 464 soy wax. I have tried the CD wicks from a different company however I did not like results after numerous testing of different Cd wick sizes, fragrances and fragrance loads. I am new to using the premier wicks. Do you a guide or suggested wick size I can start with?
Hi Stacie! We offer a Wick Guide in our Resource Center, as well as a Troubleshooting Guide and information on multi-wicking. For triple-wicking a 4" vessel, we suggest starting your Premier wick testing in the range of 725 - 735.
Would these be a good size to triple if I'm making a three wick candle in a vessel that is 4.06 inches wide and 3.50 inches tall? I am going to be making my first few test batches in this size vessel, and I need a good jumping off point to start testing with.
We would suggest looking at the Premier 725 and/or 735 for a double or triple wick as a possible option instead of the 745. A great rule of thumb for double or tripling wicking is to divide the diameter of the vessel you are doing by two (for double wicks) or by three (for triple wicks) and choosing the wick based on this new number and start testing with two or three of that size. For example, if making a 5" diameter candle that will have double wicks, you may begin testing with a wick size that is designed for a 2.5" diameter candle. Be sure they are centered, spaced out about 1" apart from each other, and not too close to the side of the glass if using containers.
I'm using coconut Wax hybrid blend from California candle supply, I use 16oz straight sided jars and 9oz Straight Sided jars I recently saw your premier wick am interested to know which size you'll recommend for the jars listed above. I'm using cd wicks at the moment 4.6 16oz and 9 for the 90z i do get a ht but it could be better.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Please contact our Customer Care Team at info@theflamingcandle.com with the wax you are using, jars diameter, and the wicks you are interested in testing out. They would be happy to make some suggestions for you!
Would these work in small containers? Mine are 2.5 inches in diameter. Thank you.
Hi Emily! Per our wick guide these wicks could work for that diameter container. Please note that the only way to know if they will work properly with your recipe is to test first. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!
