Cargill NatureWax Elite 300 is an all-natural wax designed for pillar candles, votives, and wax melts. It comes in slab form and does not require any additional additives. It creates smooth pillar candles when poured hotter, while pouring cooler can create great looking textured pillar candles.

    Melt Point: ~ 130°F -140°F

Advantages of using Cargill NatureWax Elite 300 wax:

    • Easy to work with
    • Good hot and cold throw
    • All -natural wax blend
    • Fragrance load capacity 7-10%
    • Smooth and easy mold release
    • Pre-blended; no additives required

Usage guidelines for smooth sided pillar candles:

    • Melt wax to approximately 160° - 200°F.
    • Add candle dye and additives if desired and mix thoroughly to ensure full dispersion.
    • Add fragrance if desired and mix thoroughly to ensure full dispersion.
    • Remove wax from heat and allow to cool to approximately 155° - 185°F and pour into molds slowly (molds should be pre-heated to at least 150°. If you cannot pre-heat molds prior to pouring, we recommend pouring closer to 180° - 185°F).
    • A second pour will likely be needed. To prepare for this, poke a few relief holes in the middle of the top once there is approximately 1/8" or more layer of wax. Let the candles sit for around 15 minutes and then pour wax into the hole to fill any air pockets.
    • Allow candles to cool undisturbed at room temperature for 24 – 48 hours prior to burning.
    • Wick testing is recommended to achieve optimal burning characteristics and will vary with different combinations of wax, fragrance, dye, and container size.

    Usage guidelines for wax melts:

    • Melt wax to approximately 160° - 200°F.
    • Add candle dye and additives if desired and mix thoroughly to ensure full dispersion.
    • Add fragrance if desired and mix thoroughly to ensure full dispersion.
    • Remove wax from heat and allow to cool to approximately 140° - 150°F and then pour into clamshell molds.
    • Allow wax melts to cool undisturbed at room temperature for 24 – 48 hours prior to using.
