Golden Brands GW 444 Soy Wax Flakes
Golden Brands GW 444 is a natural soy wax containing a soy based additive to reduce frosting. The soy based additive and a higher melt point enable it to retain a higher fragrance load and improve scent throw. GW 444 is designed for use in container candles and blends well with other waxes, such as paraffin, slack, and microcrystalline wax. It is not recommended to blend GW 444 with beeswax.
Melt Point: 119 - 125°
Suggested Pouring Temperature: 125 - 145°

Having a hard time getting smooth finish
Posted by Ava Johnston on 10th Apr 2018
This wax works well on the 4 oz jars, but I cannot get a smooth finish on the 8 oz jars to save my life! Have tested the 464 with better results.

Yes and No
Posted by Amanda on 10th Sep 2017
I had zero frosting and nice smooth tops. Great hot and cold throw. However after burning 2 different scented candles after letting them cure for almost 2 weeks, I noticed it doesn't particularly re-dry nicely. There's a few holes near the wick on both and a ring of white a few centimeters above the wax on the container. (I dyed both candles orange, so I'm not sure if this is the wax or the color.) I'm not sure if I will be sticking with this wax but I loved everything else besides the weird re-drying!
Good, reliable wax

I really like this wax for my essential oil based candles. It always comes out smooth on the surface, even with color added and works well in hot, humid climates too. Fast and reliable service always from The Flaming Candle Co, thank you.
Good Soy Wax For Containers
Posted by Rebecca on 25th Mar 2016
I really like this soy wax for my containers; I wait until it gets to around 120 degrees, add my 5% essential oils, stir and pour and it is often very smooth on top, unlike other waxes. It is also good in this tropical climate unlike others that have arrived soft. I recommend this soy wax. I would only wish it was organic but that's it.

Only wax I will use
Posted by Unknown on 4th Apr 2015
Since starting my company in Sept, 2014, this is the only wax I will use for my candles that are made in jars. I love the soy wax because it is Eco Friendly which is the route I wanted to go when making candles.
This is one of the best candle making supply stores I have come across. Great customer service, great prices, great wax & oils.... I have nothing bad to say about this company.
The only wax for me
