Long burn time
Posted by Ayesha on 15th Nov 2017
I'm switch from 464 to this. And notice a longer burn time. I love candles, so I been making them as a hobby and not for business as i am struggling trying to get the right wick for my jars.

I love this wax. I have transitioned from Gb 464 to IGI 6006, to this IGI 4630. And this wax have a longer burn time and gives a good hot throw.
So far so good

First time trying this wax. I used the IV 6006 before and really liked it. However, for a single pour paraffin this stuff is amazing! I used 6 oz. tins with eucalyptus spearmint FO. After only 1 day I did a test burn and the scent throw was off the charts. Awesome wax!
Wax not packaged correctly.

I ordered 30 lbs. Of IGI 4630 wax and was very disappointed at the way I received it. They took the 10lb slabs of wax and cit them in half. Put the two pieces together without any type of parchment paper between the pieces and stuck them in plastic bags where they all stuck together and I could not pry them apart. The wax was not wrapped with any kind of paper which caused it to stick all over the inside of the bag. Anywhere else I buy this wax from it comes in a 10lb individual box and it's wrapped in parchment paper so it doesn't stick to the box. Unless you guys fix the problem on how you package your wax it is not worth all the aggravation of having to scrape out the inside of the plastic bag just to get my wax out.

I mixed this with my 650 parasoy to get a softer chunk and it worked great! I love how soft it is. I'm ordering more now.
Nice and soft

I was looking for something to blend with to make my wax softer and got a 2lb sample of this. It works great. I plan on trying more types of wax.
easy to use, great results

This was my first purchase (ever) of wax. After doing some research, I chose IGI 4630. Mostly for it's single pour results. When I received the product, I was surprised that it was so soft as compared to plain paraffin. My knife slide right through it. It melted evenly and quickly. The pour was perfect!
Wonderful wax - Wish the wrapping was as good

This is the only wax I have ever used for my container candles. In the past, I had some problems with frosting, sinking and air bubbles, but I don't believe it was the fault of the wax and after doing some adjusting on my method, I found this wax to be really awesome. Smooth tops and a nice soft creamy look to the candles. What I totally disliked is the paper used for wrapping the slabs. It was very difficult to get the wax out of the box, especially with 60 lbs. packaged very tight to the edges of the box. Some bits of paper stuck to the wax and, even though I was super careful with it, I ended up with several tiny pieces "swimming around" in the melted wax which were not easy to "catch" and remove. I find it SO much easier when the slabs are wrapped separately with a Saran Wrap style material. The paper tore and therefore was rather useless to rewrap the wax whereas the plastic style wrap can easily be reused.
